Wirtz Manufacturing
I had the opportunity to direct a multiple videos for Wirtz Manufacturing aimed at elevating their recruitment efforts and showcasing their company culture. The project included a cinematic brand anthem film that told the story of Wirtz’s history as a family-owned business, reinforcing their legacy and values. There are also two company culture driven pieces as well, one highlighting leadership’s vision and the other sharing employee perspectives to attract like-minded talent. My focus as director was on shaping authentic, engaging storytelling that captured the human side of manufacturing while aligning with Wirtz’s goal of appealing to skilled, motivated candidates.
Throughout the process, I worked closely with the client and production team to develop interview strategies, coordinating production logistics and overseeing a small crew to capture raw footage. The resulting videos helped Wirtz differentiate themselves in a competitive hiring market by giving potential employees a clear, compelling look at the company’s people-first philosophy.
This project reflects my approach to directing branded content: collaborating with clients to bring their values to life through thoughtful, well-executed storytelling that resonates with the right audience.
MSU Research Foundation 50th anniversary video
This 3-minute video commemorates 50 years for the MSU Research Foundation and celebrate five decades of driving innovation, supporting entrepreneurs, and advancing Michigan State University’s mission of research and impact.
Production involved close collaboration with the Foundation team to ensure historical accuracy and alignment with their vision, all while meeting a tight delivery timeline for their 50th anniversary celebration screening. This required detailed planning, efficient script development, and meticulous sourcing and integration of archival imagery to tell a compelling, cohesive story under deadline pressure.
The final video serves as both a tribute to 50 years of achievement and a strategic communications tool that reinforces the Foundation’s credibility, builds trust with stakeholders, and honors the people and ideas shaping its next chapter.



International Code Council
Partnering with the International Code Council, I helped create three different videos designed to advance their mission of building safety. One project is a brand anthem that brings visibility to the vital, often-overlooked work of “code geeks,” celebrating their behind-the-scenes role in keeping our daily lives safe. This concept was developed in close collaboration with ICC’s communication team to ensure authentic and compelling messaging.
The second video features interviews with members of ICC’s PMG department, offering an inside look at their specialized work and educating industry stakeholders about how they can participate in shaping the codes that protect communities.
The third project is an animated explainer for 2023 Building Safety Month, where I worked closely with an animator to bring the campaign’s theme and weekly focus areas to life in a clear, engaging format.
